Come together for one last push

With the Unit Compliance Inspection, the Logistics Standardization & Evaluation Program Inspection, and the Health Services Inspection only a month away, it is now time for one last push to ensure our success.

These inspections produce grades that reflect heavily on the reputation of the 126th Air Refueling Wing at many levels.

The 126 ARW has a proud tradition of "getting the mission done," and to that end, it is important to put our best foot forward during these inspections.

Sell your program to the inspectors. If you have a "best practice," make sure you share it. Also, ensure you have all the required documentation to support the question or program. Sometimes checking "compliant" is not enough.

We are anticipating 45 UCI inspectors, 20 inspectors for the LSEP, and several inspectors for the HSI. There will be a lot of eyes looking at us for five days.

With that many inspectors looking through our programs and wandering around the Wing, it is important to remember a few things.

A positive and enthusiastic attitude can go a long way. And despite your focus, don't forget about customs and courtesies. To an inspector, a unit's display of customs and courtesies can say a lot about the organization as a whole.

I know a lot of people have done a lot of work preparing for our upcoming inspections and I thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the mission. You are our Wing's number one resource and most valuable asset.
