Senior Master Sgt. Justin Wright (left), the maintenance supervisor for the 906 Air Refueling Squadron, explains to the Cyr family where the plaque of their son, Capt. Brandon Cyr, will be displayed on the memorial at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., April 24, 2014. Cyr died in a plane crash on April 27, 2013, while deployed to Afghanistan. The memorial service was presented by U.S. Air Force airmen of the 906 ARS and Illinois Air National Guard members assigned to the 126th Air Refueling Wing.
